German professional astrologer and tarot reader. Banzhaf studied languages and philosophy, then worked for a private bank in Munich. Since 1985 he worked as author, astrologer and tarot expert, and also as editor for a German astrological publisher. He wrote numerous books on Tarot and astrology. He lost his second wife Brigitte Theler in 2007 due to illness. He died 15 months later, on 11 February 2009, unexpectedly due to an aneurysm, aged 60.
